About the role
In this role, you will work alongside a small and enthusiastic team of HR professionals and be the first point of contact for people leaders and employees to provide advisory, coaching and support on people related matters. You will be involved in executing our key people strategy initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and drive HR functional excellence and process improvement.
This dynamic and varied role will be responsible for the management and implementation of BAU activities across the employee lifecycle including recruitment through to offboarding and involved in HR projects identified in the roadmap at both a strategic and operational level to bring our Employee Value Proposition to life and embed our Values across the organisation.
You will:
- Implement proactive recruitment policies and strategies that drive an inclusive and equitable process to hiring the right people for the right roles, embracing diversity and difference.
- Drive initiatives that promote our brand, EVP and values across the organisation and externally
- Work closely with hiring managers to ensure that best practice recruitment processes are being applied across the organisation whilst also ensuring a positive experience for all our candidates
- Develop strategies to build a pipeline of diverse talent for key roles, leveraging internal talent review data to support career progression.
- Oversee onboarding and off-boarding processes and implement changes as required
- Provide advice on and recommendations on retention strategies by utilising the available data to make informed recommendations and changes
- Support the organisation to enhance manager capability and employee experience
- Alongside the broader P&C team, conduct and implement employee engagement surveys, analyse the results and work with the managers on action planning and engagement initiatives for their teams
- Lead and/or support the implementation of organisational change projects
- Provide timely and relevant advice and guidance to managers on organisational change and transformation in line with relevant legislation
- Support and guide the organisation on new ways of working in a post-COVID environment
- Lead the annual talent review process to inform succession planning, retention strategies, development needs and career progression
- Educate and guide managers through performance management processes
- Create monthly people analytics dashboards and reports, to enable data driven decision making through meaningful insights
- Lead and/or support HR Projects as assigned, eg Reconciliation Action Plan, Diversity and Inclusion, HR System Management, Remuneration framework, Review of Policies and Procedures
- Manage grievances, dispute resolution and workplace investigations, ensuring clear and thorough documentation and reporting, as required
- Manage Workcover claims and processes
- Manage Visa requests and processes
- Other ad hoc duties as required
About you:
To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:
- Significant experience working in HR Business Partnering or Generalist roles
- Well-developed understanding of legislative requirements, NES, Modern Awards, workers compensation, federal and state employment laws and other human resources compliance obligations and ability to translate into practical application when required
- Experience in change management and organisation design projects, with a demonstrated ability to bring people along through the change process
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and experience in identifying opportunities for improvement
- Superior stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and a preparedness to be ‘hands on’ to get the work done
- Excellent verbal, listening, written and communication skills
- Strong ethical credibility and integrity
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a complex environment
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using HR systems, (we use BambooHR, CultureAmp, Go1, Netsuite and Predictive Index)
- Whilst not essential, tertiary level qualifications in human resources or a relevant discipline and qualifications/experience in communications, change management or project management will be highly regarded
