(Senior) HR Project Communications Change Manager m/f/d - Remote

The Change Management & Communications Manager is responsible for delivering change communications strategies to support the HR transformation and related strategic initiatives and execute on these in close collaboration with regional HR operations, HRBP teams and the wider Brand & Communications team. This role supports the cultural change through change management projects.
This role develops, implements, and communicates strategies and key messages in clear and concise language using a variety of communication tactics. Research, write, edit, and measure all types of communication materials. Ensure internal and external communications are integrated.
- Collaborates with internal and external groups to formulate change management plans and activities to support new projects and releases for HR systems (Workday, local Payroll and Time, etc.)
- Work effectively and build relations with Xylem’s HR and Business organization to create understanding and interest in the HR Transformation and to understand local opportunities and challenges in reaching target audiences with key messages
- Understand the business challenges and opportunities of each change program, and translate into impactful communications solutions
- Work with global and regional dimensions (e.g. Operations, HR) to ensure alignment of activities with other regional, segment and global strategies and plans
- Ensure all communications activities are executed within Xylem’s brand guidelines and support the overall communications strategy of the global organization.
- Liaise with local and regional Training teams to develop messaging and product related content to be localized and executed by regional teams in their integrated communications programs
- Maintaining change and communications frameworks and channels to enable strategies and initiatives implementation
- Creating concepts and proposals related to mindset/behavior change and stakeholder alignment
- Research, write, edit, measure and authorize all types of communication materials
- Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support and adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
Skills:
- Bachelor’s/equivalent degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related discipline
- Experience in HR Transformation and Change Management, preferably in a global organization
- Broad experience in Change Management & Communications Partner position
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English
- Proven success in developing and executing change communications strategies and campaign plans
- Evidence of understanding and successful application of change management and / or communication theory
- Hands-on experience in and ability to create communication material (i.e. writing texts, creating video scripts & stakeholder presentations) tailored to different target audiences
- Experience effectively working in a matrix organization across geographies and divisions
- Strong customer centricity, end-to-end accountability, problem-solving skills, growth & agile mindset in ambiguous situations
- Able to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audience
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding
- Travel: Some global and regional travel required (approx. up to 25%)
