Do you have strong analytical and financial modeling skills, and want to do good while also doing well? The GM of Fundraising and Engagement (F&E), a $130M business line growing 40% within Bonterra, is looking to add a Senior Analyst to their team. The Sr. Analyst will be adept at business strategy, financial reporting, and market analysis. As a member of the Fundraising and Engagement management team, you’ll get to work with and learn from tenured experts in both the SaaS and nonprofit sectors. Together we’ll win the market for Bonterra, but more importantly, you will help us empower over 1 million nonprofit leaders and people who fundraise.
Responsibilities
Support the GM by performing analysis and discerning insights for the board and C-level executives
Work with FP&A team to report quarterly on 6 product level P&L’s with unit economics
Manage a set of “Impact Metrics” that measure not just business performance, but social good
Create and model strategic scenarios related to business, market, and competitive dynamics
Lead cross-functional data projects, surveys, market & competitive information collection and dissemination
Create dashboards and reports for real-time monitoring of our leading indicators
Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business and KPI reviews
Support the corporate M&A team on acquisitions and partnerships relevant to the F&E business
Perform ad hoc projects as needed
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or Math (or otherwise prove your left-brain prowess)
MBA or similar graduate degree a plus
10 years work experience with 5 years a similar role
Experience in investment banking, software, SaaS or payments businesses a plus
The ability to complete both detail and high-level analyses and quickly translate those findings into actionable information
Strong attention to details and solid organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Data driven mindset resulting in compelling insights or actions
Ability to multi-task effectively and work independently in a fast-paced cross-functional environment with competing deadlines
Proactive, results-oriented, with a positive, can-do attitude
Advanced Excel and tableau (or similar) skills
Familiar with Adaptive or similar financial planning tools
