What is the opportunity?
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning and analysis. This is a full-time position preferably based in North Charleston, SC, but remote candidates will be considered within a three-hour drive. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
A successful Senior Financial Analyst will:
Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, partners, the communities we serve, and the public.
Engage and participate in prayer before and after team meetings.
Lead and participate in biblically based staff devotions.
Develop financial metrics and dashboards in recently implemented NetSuite
Play instrumental role in implementation of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting module
Perform analyses of opportunities for carbon credits on safe water projects in the developing world, and guide the prioritization of water projects eligible for carbon credits
Perform financial analyses and modeling required by quarterly financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Develop and complete complex financial models and analyses related to opportunities, costs, and cash flows
Prepare reports and presentations to clearly and simply communicate complex data and concepts
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, mathematics, or statistics.
Strong strategic thinking skills and high level of cognitive function.
Clear understanding of and experience with financial statements.
Five years’ experience in financial planning & analysis.
Attention to detail.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with ERP system required.
Ability to clearly communicate complex financial concepts verbally, graphically, and in written form, in an easy-to-understand manner.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
Physical requirements may include lifting items or standing for long periods of time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback constructively.
If the position works remotely, routine, monthly travel to Charleston is required.
Experience with carbon credits preferred.
Experience at a multi-national engineering, construction, or nonprofit organization preferred.
Experience in cross-cultural communication preferred.
Home internet bandwidth strong enough to support video conferencing and other job-related responsibilities.
Commitment to ending the global water crisis.
