What is the opportunity?

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning and analysis. This is a full-time position preferably based in North Charleston, SC, but remote candidates will be considered within a three-hour drive. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

A successful Senior Financial Analyst will:

• Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, partners, the communities we serve, and the public.

• Engage and participate in prayer before and after team meetings.

• Lead and participate in biblically based staff devotions.

• Develop financial metrics and dashboards in recently implemented NetSuite

• Play instrumental role in implementation of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting module

• Perform analyses of opportunities for carbon credits on safe water projects in the developing world, and guide the prioritization of water projects eligible for carbon credits

• Perform financial analyses and modeling required by quarterly financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes

• Develop and complete complex financial models and analyses related to opportunities, costs, and cash flows

• Prepare reports and presentations to clearly and simply communicate complex data and concepts

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, mathematics, or statistics.

• Strong strategic thinking skills and high level of cognitive function.

• Clear understanding of and experience with financial statements.

• Five years’ experience in financial planning & analysis.

• Attention to detail.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience with ERP system required.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex financial concepts verbally, graphically, and in written form, in an easy-to-understand manner.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

• Physical requirements may include lifting items or standing for long periods of time.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback constructively.

• If the position works remotely, routine, monthly travel to Charleston is required.

• Experience with carbon credits preferred.

• Experience at a multi-national engineering, construction, or nonprofit organization preferred.

• Experience in cross-cultural communication preferred.

• Home internet bandwidth strong enough to support video conferencing and other job-related responsibilities.

• Commitment to ending the global water crisis.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
