Senior Financial Accountant

The Role: Become part of an exceptional team! We are seeking a financial accounting expert to carry out and manage the consolidation and reporting of financial accounting transactions.  The role will report to the Chief Financial Officer who is based in London.

This is a temporary contract role for an initial 3-6 months with possibility to extend.

Key responsibilities include:

a.       Acquisition and mergers financial accounting and reporting, acquisition consolidations, opening balances tracking and reporting.

b.       Develop, maintain and improve financial accounting processes and reporting to support our acquisitions and merger strategic business planning and forecasting.

c.       Ensure compliance and tracking for tax requirements.

d.       Stabilization of accounting processes and components for new Bridge Carbon entities.

e.       Carbon projects accounting support

f.        Assist with migration to new NetSuite

g.       Support the team with ad-hoc reporting

Requirements:

-          University degree in a relevant field.

-          Minimum of 5 years' experience.

-          Expert knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting standards.

-          Must have prior experience applying advanced accounting and reporting concepts to include acquisition and mergers, revenue and cost recognition, consolidation, intangibles.

-          Must have experience working with complex accounting and reporting situations.

-          Must have international entity accounts consolidation experience.

-          Qualified accountant (ACA , ACCA, CIMA) or other financial certifications preferred.

Location:  This is a remote position. Candidate must be based in the UK. Bridge Carbon has offices in London.
