Senior Executive - Internal Audit

SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, a member organization of SOS-Kinderdorf International, provides total care to the children who have lost their parents and supports the children who are at risk of losing the care of their biological family. The organization has well-established projects in Piliyandala, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Mallavi, Gandara, Peraliya, and Malpotha & Jaffna and invites applications from highly committed individuals who meet the requisite qualifications for the following position.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE – INTERNAL AUDIT (NATIONAL OFFICE - PILIYANDALA)

We are looking for a young and energetic candidate to join our organization as Senior Executive - Internal Audit. The selected candidate will be expected to plan and execute internal audits on a timely basis and recommend improvements to organizational processes based on findings. The Internal Audit Assistant will be expected to liaise with staff of all levels and travel extensively to the Project Locations.

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Full or Part qualification in Internal Auditing, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years’ work experience as an auditor. Candidates with Internal Audit experience are preferred.
  • High degree of computer literacy, ability to meet deadlines and ability to multi task is mandatory.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of interpersonal skills and willingness to travel to all SOS Children’s Village Project locations.
  • Sound communication skills in English and Sinhala/ Tamil.
