Position Summary
The Senior Director, Corporate Finance & Risk leads financial management and reporting on MEDA world-wide activities, including treasury, and regulatory compliance. This position helps to ensure the overall stability of MEDA’s financial status.
The Director will be an integral part of the Finance, Information Technology Services & Legal team and will report to MEDA’s CFIO.
Job Status: Full-Time
Start Date: June 2024
Location: Hybrid/Remote within Canada or US, ideally within proximity to a MEDA office
Salary Range:

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in financial management or related field. Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of financial management experience including leadership in driving change.
Additional Qualifications:
Understanding and appreciation of business principles, international development, and MEDA’s approach of creating business solutions to poverty
Working knowledge of NetSuite or other financial ERP
Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills
Exceptional analytical skills, as well as demonstration of continuous improvement mindset
Experience in financial management of government contracts
Strong and effective communication skills, willingness to engage with all stakeholders
Strong organizational skills to coordinate efforts across the team, including managing other analysts or consultants
