Principal Functions:
Engage and work with strategic partners in the Greater Bay Area in supporting the organisation to find solutions to pressing challenges facing our wetlands and secure the future of our flyways.
Work on the “Greater Bay Area” project in coordination and awareness-raising of nature-based solutions to build a climate-resilient Greater Bay Area.
Support the Wetland Incubator Project’s otter research in Greater Bay Area.
Support development and coordination of research projects related to wetland conservation.
Assist monitoring and research work at Mai Po.

Qualifications:
A Master’s degree holder in Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or any discipline related to conservation is preferred.
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in conservation with experience in implementing onsite conservation projects in Mainland China by working together with Mainland China government departments, NGOs, and local communities.
Relevant working experience in stakeholder engagement and education. Experience in leading outdoor activities/ engagement experience related to nature conservation or appreciation, or projects planning, and implementation will be an advantage.
