SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, a member organization of SOS-Kinderdorf International, provides total care to the children who have lost their parents as well as the children who are at risk of losing the care of their biological family. The organization has well established Projects in Piliyandala, Nuwaraeliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Jaffna, Gandara, Peraliya Malpotha and Mallavi and invites applications from highly committed individuals who meet the requisite qualifications for the following position.
SENIOR CO-WORKER (CHILDREN’S VILLAGE/ YOUTH FACILITY – CV PILIYANDALA)

The Senior Co-worker will be required to assist the Village Director in all Children’s Village activities such as:
Candidates for this position should have a Degree/Diploma in Social work from a UGC approved Institute or equivalent is preferred. Those with prior experience (1 – 2 years preferred) or training in social work, teaching, sports & educational activities, career guidance, child psychology, counseling and youth services will be given preference. High degree of computer literacy, good language proficiency in English & Sinhala and knowledge in administration is desired. Above all candidates should have a passion for working with children without parental care.
This is a residential position and the selected candidate will be provided furnished quarters for family.
