In this position, you will:**
Manage all Waukesha Channels and closely work with the Channel Champions to ensure Channels have the proper tools, training, and skills to effectively represent Waukesha gas engine and service sales in assigned territories. In collaboration with the global and local Waukesha Channel Champions, negotiate account plans and identify sales targets and activities necessary to effectively represent the Waukesha product line. Provide the necessary tools, guidelines, and support to the Channel Champion in conducting reviews and follow-up with channel partners and implement corrective actions when necessary.
**In this position, you will be responsible for:
**
· Responsible for creating, maintaining and enforcing a global and local channel strategy
· Collaborate with Product Management and local Commercial Teams to define appropriate coverage model and compliance for each region
· Cultivating long-term relationship with strategic partners to support Waukesha business growth
· Indirectly lead a group of Channel Champions for the indirect management of all Waukesha Channels
· Provide to Channel Champions a proven, consistent, and repeatable methodology to drive and monitor channel effectiveness and improvement initiatives
· Assist in developing channel partner product competence and improved customer service
· Connect with colleagues to solve potential conflicts between distributors, packager and other channels to market
· Provide the tools and support the Channel Champions in monitoring channel partners’ financial performance, scorecards, and accounts receivables
· Provide guidance and tools to the Channel Champions for creating development or recovery plans when appropriate for channel partners to improve performance and efficiency
· Review and draft contracts and other legally binding documents, such as authorization letters and notices with the support from an external legal team
· Enforce global compliance standards, perform rigorous due diligence on channel partners and oversee compliance audit programs
· Schedule, host and lead the Channel Review Board (CRB) with the input and participation of Channel Champions for presenting to senior leadership the business case for adding, removing, or demoting channels
· Train Channel Champions and local Commercial Teams on how to effectively manage channels
· Host, lead, and facilitate the Waukesha’s Distributor’s community group, with the organization of annual face to face Distributor meetings and quarterly calls
Your profile:
· Bachelor’s degree or above
· Minimum 10 years’ experience in industry related sales or marketing
· Demonstrated experience and success in the management of indirect sales channels required
· Direct and/or indirect leadership experience
