The Senior Campaigns Manager manages the strategy, planning, and implementation of All Out's campaigns, with a focus on LGBT+ communities and issues in Latin America.
The Senior Campaigns Manager supervises Campaigns Managers, Coordinators and Fellows who are based in the Latin America region. These team members work on campaigns and fundraisers both in the Latin America region and across the world - including, but not limited to, pressure campaigns, member-generated campaigns, crowdfunding campaigns and community fundraising campaigns.
The Senior Campaigns Manager works closely with the All Out’s other Senior Campaigns Manager and in coordination with the Director of Programs, to develop new creative ways of engaging with All Out’s members, partners, and LGBT+ communities, run and expand All Out’s member campaigns program, and grow the movement and its positive impact through All Out’s people-power driven campaigns around the world.
This position reports to the Director of Programs.

Responsibilities:
CAMPAIGNS
Identify, pitch and manage rapid-response campaigns and fundraisers around global crises and opportunities for LGBT+ rights, ensuring they have a strong theory of change and potential to win and drive significant membership growth, retention and engagement.
Establish and manage partnerships with LGBT+ organizations and networks to develop and run campaigns.
Oversee the ongoing promotion, and progress towards engagement and growth goals for All Out's Member Generated Petition (MGP) platform, Megaphone, within Latin America, maintaining a constant flow of MGPs.
Facilitate the promotion of All Out’s P2P platform “Queer-to-Queer” and contribute to seeding fundraising campaigns, particularly in Portuguese and Spanish.
Use digital tools to test and monitor the performance of campaign emails, action pages, and other campaign tools.
Design and implement tactics to ensure campaigns have real-world impact, and reach audiences beyond All Out’s current pool of members and donors.
Write inspiring campaign copy.
Stay on top of latest trends and developments in online campaigning and translate this into innovative actionable ideas for All Out and its partners.
Work closely with All Out’s other Senior Campaigns Manager and in coordination with the Director of Programs to assure a consistent and globally integrated approach to All Out’s campaign work, including monthly campaign planning and campaigns budget oversight.
Work with the Senior Manager Online Marketing to align on list growth objectives to assure the close integration of advocacy and of list growth/marketing work.
Lead on fundraising campaigns and participate in organizational wide fundraising drives, coordinate monthly fundraising campaign planning and implementation, and assure the close integration of advocacy and fundraising work in consultation with the Senior Manager Online Fundraising.
Monitor the implementation and ensure the delivery of donor funded restricted projects in the region.
TRAINING
GRANTS & CORPORATE PARTNERS
Scope grant opportunities and share with the Executive Director and the Director of Programs.
Support the application to grants, as applicable.
Support the Executive Director and the Director of Programs in reporting on geographically restricted Latin America grants.
Support the Executive Director in managing Latin American corporate partnerships.
Represent the organization in Foundation and Corporate events held in Latin America.
MANAGEMENT
Oversee budget for All Out's campaign work and the training program in Latin America in consultation with the Director of Programs and the Director of Operations.
Line manage Campaigns Managers, Coordinators and Fellows in Latin America.
Active participation in the Management Team, working across the organization to help resolve or improve challenges around processes or impact.
Essential skills and experience:
A demonstrated commitment to human rights and people powered change as a path toward progressive change;
At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international context. Experience in online advocacy and digital strategy is absolutely critical, with a strong preference for those who have experience in online fundraising or marketing;
Extensive understanding of data, analytics and reporting, as it applies to online advocacy work;
Excellent writing skills and extensive experience with campaigning copy;
Strong project management skills and the ability to lead diverse teams to achieve agreed goals and to drive change without direct authority;
Ability to operate in a high-paced environment, working to tight deadlines without compromising quality;
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with a diverse set of people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds;
Fluency in verbal and written English, and Spanish or Portuguese, with a strong preference for fluency in all three languages. Additional language skills in at least one more All Out language (French, German, Italian) is a plus;
An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, organized and deadline-oriented attitude;
Meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of the political and social context in the LGBT+ movement;
Experience working with large eCRM databases like ActionKit, or a similar platform;
Basic knowledge of HTML and web development;
Basic knowledge of SQL reporting;
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics;
Experience running successful P2P campaigns;
Experience working remotely in a dispersed international team;
An existing network in the LGBT+ or human rights movement.
