Position Summary
Accion is looking for a dynamic, customer-service oriented, well-organized self-starter to manage, integrate, and support Accion’s global business applications. Reporting to and under general direction of the VP, Global Technology, the Senior Business Analyst will translate business needs into technical application solutions and recommend platforms, products, and tools that will evolve the organization's business processes. The Senior Analyst will troubleshoot technical and functional challenges related to Salesforce, VantagePoint, Smartsheet, PowerBI and the rest of the ecosystem, and integrate these with SaaS platforms as needed.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves and willingness to support the business wherever needed.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage the development, configuring, testing, deployment, operational monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of Accion’s global business applications.
- Provide support to the business applications, to Salesforce, VantagePoint, Adaptive, AvidX, Cobalt, Smartsheet and platforms and respond to IT Tickets.
- Gather and document system integration requirements and specifications, and recommend the best approach for design, integration, and applications management.
- Coordinate relationships and support with third-party IT system vendors.
- Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of all
- Conduct research and remain current with the latest technologies and solutions in support of the business applications.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred.
- 7+ years of technology related experience.
- 5+ years of Salesforce application design, finance management systems, and integration platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce for nonprofits, SalesCloud and other versions of the system.
- Significant experience managing multiple projects, using sound judgement and implementing comprehensive technical solutions effectively; strong critical thinking and business analysis.
- Strong customer service and business relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Proactive, self-motivated and the ability to successfully work well in a moderately paced environment.
- Responsible for developing, distributing, supporting, enforcing, and integrating best practices and technology standards.
- Proficiency in web services (SOAP, REST), APIs, XML, and web scripting languages is preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure ecosystem is highly desired.
- Spirit of collaboration with staff in other IT staff to coordinate relevant activities.
