Responsibilities

Our Senior Auditors are part of the audit assignment teams and responsible for the execution of the risk-based internal audits. They are also assisting the Group Audit Leadership team with other audit matters and projects.

The purpose of this position is to:

• provide the Group Board Audit Committee and the CEO an independent and objective assurance over internal control effectiveness
• help improve our operations
• develop and share knowledge

As part of an audit team, the Senior Auditor prepares and executes Holcim audit assignments according to the Group Internal Audit methodology. The Senior Auditor is assigned to a few business processes and domains on which he/she should:

• Write Audit Guides describing the approach and methodology to audit the allocated processes or domains
• Develop relationships with the relevant stakeholders at Group level to expand Group Audit’s knowledge in the field and share findings from missions
• Maintain and update the Group Audit’s knowledge databases

The Senior Auditor can also be assigned to projects aimed at improving the Group Internal Audit’s performance and internal processes.

Education/Qualifications

• MBA, Master of Science or equivalent as a minimum

Experience

• Mandatory: at least 5 years of experience in a multinational company environment including, but not limited to, Big 4 accounting firms
• Considered as an advantage: sound experience and knowledge of the Group itself, of its businesses, operations, functions, organization

• Deep industry/operations and business process knowledge
• Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain

• Technical skills in relation to operations (e.g. quality, environment, industrial performance, etc.)
• Relevant professional certifications (CIA, CFE, CPA) are considered a plus

• Ability to evaluate risks in the context of Holcim`s strategic vision

Language Requirements

English is the working language and mandatory. Another language is an asset: French, German, Spanish, or Arabic.

Travel Requirements

>50%. 6 rounds of Audit / up to 18 weeks abroad
