Salary Range: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC) is an action-oriented group of investors working in agriculture and food systems. CLIC aims to rapidly scale-up the finance necessary to shift towards low-carbon and climate-resilient agriculture and food systems globally, thus delivering on the ambitions of the Glasgow Breakthrough Agenda on Agriculture agreed at COP26. CPI runs the Secretariat for CLIC.
Position Summary
CPI is recruiting for a Senior Analyst position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to CPI’s work in climate finance for agrifood systems, specifically by conducting analytical work related to the ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC)’s Agrifood Investment Connector
Reporting to the CLIC Connector Manager, the CLIC Senior Analyst will be responsible for overall leadership and knowledge management of the Connector impact work, in close coordination with the CLIC Manager, the Connector Manager, analysts and independent consultant.
You will need to quickly develop a solid understanding of the CPI and CLIC mission in the climate finance for agrifood systems space as well as the CPI/CLIC stakeholders and partners that drive it. You will also be asked to forge partnerships with organisations including government officials, investors, funders, agribusiness accelerators, deal rooms and relevant technical assistance (TA) programs in emerging and developing economies.

The Senior Analyst will work in close cooperation with a range of international partners from the agrifood policy, finance, and corporate spheres, as well as with CPI teams across the globe. You will gain exposure to a wide array of stakeholders in the agriculture and food systems climate investment space whilst drawing on the CPI world class technical teams focused on scaling-up and accelerating finance for agriculture and food systems globally.
