Senior AML/KYC Specialist

As a Senior KYC/AML Specialist, you will become a member of a team of professionals supporting our front-office trading teams across our hubs. The job is fast-paced, the team and leadership is international, and you will be working for a pioneer in environmental commodities trading.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in either CDD, KYC, AML procedures, contract management, cash & settlement management, or similar processes.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills (additional language skills are a plus)
• University degree, ideally in economics, business administration, finance, or law.
• Experience within a multinational environment and a desire to work in one.
• Exceptional communication skills to manage demanding stakeholders.
• Precision, detail orientation, and solid Microsoft Office skills.
• Can work individually and getting things done within a limited variety of well-defined procedures and practices
• Interest in the legal environment of a financial firm is a plus
• Desire to deliver excellent support to our international sales trading team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the sales team in onboarding new clients, ensuring compliance with CDD and AML procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, risk management, and legal experts during contracting procedures.
• Assist management and the sales team with ad-hoc reports.
• Support the Compliance Officer and Internal Auditor in understanding and controlling departmental activities.
• Take initiative or lead smaller projects to enhance back-office operations.
• Proactively understand the products the company deals with to support the sales team and improve procedures.
