Who we are
PSI is a network of locally rooted, globally connected organizations working to achieve consumer-powered healthcare — people-centered health systems that ensure quality, affordable care wherever and whenever it is needed. Our origins in sexual and reproductive health have grown into a broader mission. Today, we work with the public and private sectors as well as local communities, prioritizing people’s voice and choice and developing solutions to meet their essential health needs. Over the past five decades, we have helped push boundaries, break taboos, set trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex global health challenges.
Join us!
PSI’s Grants & Contracts Department (G&C) oversees award negotiation, compliance training, and establishment of award compliance standards for PSI’s donor/client-funded projects. G&C helps staff navigate regulatory complexities and the terms and conditions of their awards. We approach compliance holistically – reinforcing the correlation between programmatic, financial, and donor/client requirements, providing support across the organization. We aim to work towards collaborative compliance solutions with PSI’s Global Network Members (NM), Global Operations, Legal Services, Global Fundraising, Finance, Procurement, and technical teams. Each project is different, and that is how we approach award compliance: a tailored compliance approach for each award.
PSI seeks a Senior Advisor I, Award Compliance (USG) that will provide expert-level compliance guidance to Network Member and project management teams, other PSI departments, external entities as required, and the G&C team in the areas of: preaward proposal development compliance support; review and negotiation of prime awards and modifications and subagreements; donor/client regulatory compliance guidance; development of compliance guidance documents reinforcing donor/client requirements, reflecting best practices and award monitoring tools and templates; oversight of prime award approval requirements, and subrecipient assessment and monitoring best practices and development of compliance tools and trainings.
