About the Job 
We are currently seeking a scientist, engineer, or chemist in our Investigation and Remediation business area. The position will support multiple clients and projects, with a focus on chemical fate and transport analyses and data evaluations. The day-to-day work will vary and may include data and statistical analysis, document review and synthesis, conceptual site model development, strategic planning, expert witness support, and report writing. Integral offers future opportunities to grow project management skills, communicate with clients, and present your work through science conferences. Most assignments will require teamwork, though a few will be entirely your responsibility.

This position may offer in-office, remote, or hybrid opportunities based on the candidate’s location and the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

As a mid-level scientist/engineer, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:

• Supporting litigation matters by reviewing, assimilating, integrating, and interpreting data and documents.

• Supporting remedial investigations and feasibility studies under CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA, and state-equivalent programs, and surface and groundwater resource evaluations

• Managing small tasks and projects

• Communicating technical information to varied audiences (e.g., clients, staff, regulators, and stakeholders)

• Contributing to technical report writing

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, chemistry, or environmental, chemical, or civil engineering, or a related technical field.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of professional experience
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• A desire to grow intellectually and professionally
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully within multidisciplinary and diverse teams
• Project experience related to PFAS

Annual Salary Range: $75,000–$110,000

An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company-match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability, paid sick leave (80 hours per year), paid vacation (12 days), paid holidays (9 days per year), and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be prorated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
