Responsibilities & Requirements
The Sales Readiness Facilitator & Coach trains and certifies on innovative onboarding & upskilling programs for Bonterra's revenue team. Working closely with experienced Instructional Designers, this role will be directly responsible for ensuring our new and existing hires have the skillset, toolset and mindset to be effective. The position is directly responsible for helping our revenue team hone their craft and grow professionally through classroom based and virtual experiential learning.
What You'll Do:
- Facilitate top notch and engaging learning programs for new and experienced hires utilizing in person, virtual facilitation skills and tools.
- Lead learning, development, coaching and reinforcement activities for event-based experiences, including but not limited to quarterly Sales Kickoff events, and product launches.
- Facilitate classroom-based learning experiences for revenue staff as well as teams who liaise with revenue teams.
- Incorporate best practices in instructional design and training delivery for adult learners.
- Project manage key aspects of the assessment, design, delivery, implementation and evaluation of learning and coaching initiatives for the revenue team.
- Evaluate and continuously enhance the effectiveness, success, and impact of the onboarding and training initiatives in measurable ways and to meet changing dynamics and priorities.
- Develop strong connections with revenue leaders and teams and provide individual coaching opportunities. This includes sales readiness platform recordings and live shadow calls.
- Work closely with applicable internal stakeholders to ensure curriculum content exemplifies Bonterra's 4 key solutions, but will likely specialize in 1 platform or sector (Nonprofit & Political).
- Provide timely, informal (and potentially game changing) feedback regularly. This role requires frequent live coaching, positive & constructive criticism delivery and frequent communications with managers through live interactions, and graded assignments in our sales readiness platform, Lessonly.
- Build and deploy modules and reinforcement activities, as well as graded assignments to test knowledge through Lessonly.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 1 years of sales training and/or onboarding experience in high growth organizations, or a minimum of 2 years in customer facing sales role with a track record of achieving revenue quota and history of providing sales training/enablement activities
- Instructional design or facilitation classes or certificate encouraged
- Experience building & facilitating content while in a sales role preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences
- Understanding of Software as a Service business model and strategic accounts revenue generation, and ideally that sales process
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Working knowledge of adult learning theories and blended learning solutions preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
- Experience with CRMs, preferably Salesforce and the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and solutions orientation
- Experience with Sales Readiness and Tech tools (e.g., Gong.io, ZoomInfo, SalesNav, SalesLoft/Outreach, and Lessonly) preferred
- Ability to travel 30% of the time, including to attend or facilitate live training
