Job Summary:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. As part of GrainPro’s mission-driven team, the SDR will work towards sustainable solutions that reduce post-harvest losses and support global food security. The SDR will collaborate with marketing and sales to increase the pipeline and drive revenue growth while upholding the company's values of inclusiveness, sustainability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for customers with product & Services.
- Identify and qualify potential customers through research and outreach, utilizing various tools and platforms.
- Contact prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media to generate interest and set appointments for the sales team.
- Communicate GrainPro’s value propositions, highlighting the benefits of chemical-free and sustainable post-harvest solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute lead generation campaigns and follow up on inbound leads.
- Manage and update the CRM system with accurate prospect information and activities.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and appointments.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to improve the lead generation process and overall sales strategy.
- Promote GrainPro's commitment to environmental responsibility and inclusiveness in every interaction.
Qualifications:
- “Self-starting” is the key to succeed in this job position.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the English, Hindi and at least one of the regional languages at the job location.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands on in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Experience with lead generation and cold calling is a plus.
