Within the framework of the Department’s objectives and yearly action plans, his/her mission are:
To sell the full range of company products to identified target markets within the corporate strategy in order to optimise turnover profitability.
The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:
Make regular calls, dealing with queries timeously and effectively.
Develop existing customers in accordance with company strategy to ensure customer loyalty and to maintain market share.
Grow customer base by identifying new customers as well as new areas to penetrate in order to meet and exceed sales targets
Ability to forecast and substantiate customer volumes with a certain degree of accuracy,to feed into the budget and quarterly reforecast cycles.
Liaise with customers to provide feedback on Company policies and procedures
Grow customer base by projecting a positive image of the Company and communicatingthe Company strategy.
Engage in active sales discussions and negotiate closures of sales deals.
Attend to admin duties such as pricing, account queries, logistics service issues,generating reports, setting up of call plans and call reports, as well as managing expense budgets.
Using the monthly sales dashboard input pack, report to management on sales drivers such as business won, potential future sales, prospects etc
In support of the Area Manager and Sales Manager from time to time call on specifiers (consulting engineering practices, architectural practices etc)

In support of Key Account Resellers, call on regional key account offices from time to time
Service customers in terms of technical requirements to ensure quality assurance
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing on-site technical assistance and ensuring that
Product complaints and on-site investigation
Product training internal and external
Technical, product solution support, site based demonstrations
Product development
Product Promotions.
Be in possession of an unendorsed, valid driver’s licence.
