GrainPro is currently recruiting for a Sales & Technical Services Manager, based at Guwahati, Assam.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A.) Sales and Territory Management
- Be the first point of contact for customers with products & Services.
- To achieve sales target focused on Key Accounts through a well-managed budget expense for the Key Accounts Segment.
- Required to interact closely with key decision-makers of distributors & Key Accounts and monitor their requirements.
- Lead sales and product presentations, contract development and negotiation to Key Accounts (Corporate Presentations to Prospective clients/distributors or Key Influencers).
- Travel throughout the locations within the area of responsibility with business Growth objectives. (Traveling about <50% of working hours)
- To coordinate/organize sales and after-sales support activities (Technical Services, product installation & customer support).
- To convert inquiries into Sales
- To facilitate collection of payments
- To do day-to-day activities related to GrainPro business focused on Key Accounts.
B.) Marketing
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to specific Key Accounts to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities of developing Key Accounts by devising local plans on specific projects starting from the area of responsibility and expanding to the Region
- Come up with updated and well-managed Expanded Customer Information database (ExCID) focused on Key Accounts.
- Closely work with the CM in participating in both local and International Exhibitions to promote GrainPro products with emphasis to a thorough and well-planned evaluation with his superior/s.
- Monitor solution implementation for Key Accounts
- Support initiatives related to internal and external customers.
C.) Networking Training, Management and Development of Business Partners (Distributors/Retailers/Reps) in close coordination with the CM
- Motivating Distributors/Business Partner counterparts in each Country to generate maximum business.
- Training and Coaching Business Partner’s Counterparts (“Training the Trainor’s”)
- Organize regular coordination/communication exchange with our business partners (Distributors/ Retailers / and Representatives)
D.) Execution and Communication (Directions and Reporting)
- In coordination with the CM, keep sales Head Office in the Philippines/US updated with relevant information including forecasts and other market updates needed for smooth operational activity.
- To work with government organizations for sales as well as policy drafting.
- Ensures a coordinated approach between the Philippines/US and the region assigned while being responsible for regional marketing activity, with a future focus on coordinating activities across other markets.
- Ensure the success of projects that the organization will embark on, including standards such as ISO and other individual projects that may be assigned.
- Ensures that work performed conforms to the quality standard set by the company and is aware of the implication of non- conformance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree holder preferably in Agricultural / Food Technology related or Agribusiness courses.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi and atleast one of the regional languages i.e. Assamese a primary requirement.
- With minimum 5+ years of working experience in hardcore field sales, marketing & customer services in agriculture fields, Grains, spices, feed mill, cocoa, FMCG/Food & beverage business.

- Must have a valid driving license and the ability to drive 2-wheels AND 4-wheels vehicles.
- Strong ethical background and proven business development experience in related industries.
