Location: Head Office (Toronto, ON)
Job Summary:
The Sales Administrator role will report to the Manager, Sales Administration and assume a key role in the daily administration of customer orders and shipments, with a focus on the North American market.
We are seeking a talented, motivated top performer to join our team in this role with experience in customer service while communicating with multiple internal departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support and take ownership of the administration aspects of customer orders and the corresponding financial and compliance paperwork that must be maintained customers/suppliers of spent lithium-ion batteries:
- Work with existing customers to ensure that all required paperwork is completed prior to shipments
- Ensure that any material sampling requirements have been identified and completed as necessary
- Resolve any discrepancies with clients related to differences in weight, material type, etc.
- Ensure that all sales and purchase orders are prepared in a timely fashion and sent to customers
- Perform documentation reviews ahead of certification audits.
- Be a central point of contact for customer questions related to payments or any other item.
- Participate in teams to continually improve our IT systems and processes as it related to our interaction with customers.
Job Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree / diploma in a field related to Business or Accounting
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment would be preferrable
- Excellent computer skills (advanced EXCEL, experience with ERP would be preferrable)
