Summary of Role:
The Senior Financial Modeller will play a key role as part of the Commercial team in preparing, building and optimizing financial models, and will be involved in structuring, negotiating and achieving financial close of awarded projects. This role requires the management of the modelling process from the Mainstream side as it relates to all project development and financing, valuation, and M&A activities. The role will provide first-hand exposure to project finance, private equity, investment banking and M&A activities, and will suit an ambitious candidate keen to establish a strong foundation within financial modelling before progressing to take more responsibility for project financing or M&A work and commercial negotiations.

What you will do:
o Developing and running equity and lender-case financial models
o Pricing of Power Purchase Agreements
o Project finance debt-sizing and optimisation
o Valuation of renewable energy assets
o Scenario and sensitivity analysis
o General analysis of cash flows
o Ability to audit/sense check a financial model quickly and succinctly to ensure outputs are reasonable in order to make quick and correct commercial decisions.
o Ability to challenge those providing inputs to ensure an accurate representation of the risks and rewards is prepared and presented
