Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides relief to survivors of natural disasters. The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing work sites; troubleshooting, ensuring quality control and offering technical support to the Site Supervisors and Volunteer Team Leaders.

Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot problems on worksites and offer technical support to the field team members, especially Site Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Volunteers
- Oversee workflow and quality control across work sites.
- Monitor safety on the worksites and provide training to team leaders and volunteers in risk assessment, proper tool usage, building skills and PPE.
- Ensure compliance with general safety standards.
- Organize and perform maintenance of tools and supervise proper handling and storage.
- Assist as needed in the site assessment and selection process, building and managing queue, and data entry into Salesforce.
- Oversee the Team Leader training as needed.
- Provide technical guidance to other staff and volunteers in hazardous substance identification and mold sanitation.
- Listen to the needs of our clients and bridging the gap between them and the site lead.
- To be considered for this position you must be fully vaccinated. Subject to applicable guidance, the term fully vaccinated currently refers to when an individual has received either a single-shot vaccine or both doses of a two-shot vaccine, and two weeks have elapsed since the final dose.

Position Requirements
- Education High school diploma required.
- Related Experience One year in residential remodeling/construction OR disaster response required. Experience leading volunteers in disaster response or other similar setting preferred. Previous All Hands and Hearts, AmeriCorps, or Peace Corps experience preferred.
- Special Competencies/Certifications Driver's license and ability to be certified to drive AHAH vehicles. Excellent construction, tool, material & safety knowledge, with ability to teach these skills to volunteers, Site Supervisors, and Team Leader trainees. Excellent communications skills, both in person and on the phone. Great problem-solving ability. Ability to multitask & prioritize a large workload. Computer skills, with some experience in data entry & use of spreadsheets.
