About the project:
The Artemis Alliance (AA) programme is aimed at preventing and tackling gender and identity-based forms of disinformation in Armenia, Georgia and Poland.
AA consists of network members across the three countries, primarily civil society organisations (CSOs) whose work is heavily impacted by gender and identity-based disinformation (GIBD), such as those supporting women and the LGBTQIA+ community.
The programme is being implemented by an international consortium that includes Zinc Network (lead implementer), the Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR), Kvinna til Kvinna Foundation (KtK), and International Alert (IA).
About the role:
The Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) is seeking a researcher to support a Georgian-based civil society organisation in their project to research and monitor coordinated attacks - with a focus on the use of disinformation - on publicly active women in the pre-election period.
The role will be carried out over six months, with the research and monitoring phase taking place for four months, and the report write-up phase for the final two months.

Background / Skills:
Native-level Georgian and a strong command of the English language;
Relevant degree in a field such as Media Studies, Communication, Journalism, Political Science, or a related discipline;
Experience in producing research reports in areas connected with media and information activities in Georgia;
Demonstrated understanding of gender and identity-based challenges in Georgia, particularly those related to disinformation;
Ability to work closely with civil society organisations to align research reports with communication goals and ensure suitability for publication on their website;
Proven adaptability to evolving project requirements and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
