Research Coordinator

The Research Coordinator is a junior/mid-level position within the Social Impact team. The team’s main function is to monitor and assess the impacts of Proximity’s products and services through research activities. As a Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating the timely delivery of multiple research projects by effectively coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Once You’re Here, You Will:

• Provide administrative support for research data collection process (phone interviews or fieldwork) including, but not limited to; preparing budget, recruiting external enumerators depending on workloads
• Contribute to research interviews and data entry/cleaning process as directed by research associates
• Liaise with third-party enumerators and supervise them
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of (external) enumerators and assist in providing training to them as needed

Must-Haves:

• 1 to 2+ years professional experience of project management/project coordinating, ideally in market research or social research industry
• Superior organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Excel and G-suite will be an advantage, but not essential
• Passionate about helping rural farmers and improving their livelihoods
