About the role:

As an R&D Technician at Meatable, you will support our team in the development of cost-effective cell culture media for the production of sustainable cultivated meat. Using state-of-the-art techniques, you will work with cell line generation, adherent and suspension cell cultures. Your role will involve collaborating with our scientific experts on cross-functional projects that transition from research into product development.

Note: This is an entry-level position.

Main responsibilities:

• Routine cell culture work (adherent and suspension)
• Media preparation
• Downstream assays for analysis of cell cultures
• Colaborate with cell line generation by using molecular biology tecnhiques
• Clear communication of results
• Maintaining laboratory elab notebook

Qualifications:

• HLO or comparable lab education (MSc also an option).
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, including passaging and maintenance
• Having experience with suspension cell cultures is a plus
  Basic knowledge of standard chemical and cell-based analytical techniques, like, qPCR, IF and molecular cloning
• Good verbal and written English (must).
• Experience in writing SOP and/or WI documentation
