Job Summary
World Resources Institute China Office (WRI China) is seeking a Research Analyst IV for the Food and Natural Resources Program. This position will play a dedicated and analytical role in investment and financing mechanism for trade and supply chains. The successful candidate will conduct research on investment and trade, supply chain finance projects, analysis financial solutions to enable sustainable trade and investment, policy studies, pilot projects and scaling-up efforts.
Job Responsibilities
Job Qualifications
Master’s degree in finance/investment/economic/trade or related fields. PhD degree is a plus.
Minimum three years of highly relevant and full-time work experience in sustainable finance/investment /supply chain finance related fields. Experiences on natural resources supply chain related work is a plus.
Strong quantitative research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills, preferably with publication experience. Modeling and programing skill is a plus.
Ability to work well in a team, manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment, with good work ethics.
Detail-oriented, positive, enthusiastic, and innovative in facing challenges, opportunities, and new tasks.
Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally.
Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English.
