- Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta) -- a flexible framework for assessing and reporting on the sustainable development benefits of project-based activities.
- Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards -- to identify projects that simultaneously address climate change, support local communities and smallholders, and conserve biodiversity.
- Plastic Waste Reduction Program -- to enable robust impact assessment of new or scaled-up waste recovery and recycling projects around the globe.
Verra is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Registry Finance Assistant. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations within the finance department. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in accounting, particularly in accounts receivable, data entry and reconciliation.

- Assist in identifying incoming payments and ensure proper allocation to relevant accounts
- Collaborate with the Registry Finance team to support the financial needs of the organization
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department

Conduct reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Enter new accounts into the accounting system, ensuring accurate and up to date records

Coordinate the Billing email account, responding to inquiries and forwarding relevant information to appropriate team members

Complete new customer onboarding and setup as requested by account holders and departments

Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions, invoices, and vendor information
You bring with you...
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in accounting, specifically in accounts receivable and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information
- Prior experience with Unanet software is a plus
