SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organization for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. We also advocate for children’s and young people’s rights in alliance with many partners. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families, and caregivers annually.
By effectively integrating education as a core component of SOS Children’s Villages programming, SOS CV aims to enhance access to and improve the quality of education services for children without parental care or at risk of losing it, including children in alternative care.
SOS Children’s Villages in the WCNA region aims to increase impact by working in partnership with duty bearers and other stakeholders to build on existing initiatives, systems, resources, and capacities of the communities in which we operate.
The Regional Education Coordinator will support a strategic approach towards increased reach and improved regional partnerships, providing expert technical support to this process at every step. This role requires expertise in education in development and humanitarian contexts, education systems, and a high degree of professionalism and collaboration.
