Regional Data Specialist

About the job

The Regional Data Specialist is responsible for the collections, analysis and interpretation of data gathered through Plastic Bank’s primary programs and tools as well as other external sources that may be relevant and strategically helpful to the growth and development of the organizations primarily in the area of traceability in his or her assigned region. The Regional Data Specialist will work closely with various stakeholders and teams to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and reliability of the data reported to the Global Customer Excellence Manager as well as other Senior Leaders. This role will be vital in providing valuable data-driven insights, ideas and recommendations that will be used in crafting strategies and decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing complex data systems and document data elements and flow, and relationships and dependencies.
2. Creating complex queries and procedures to support reporting data.
3. Designing, developing, implementing, managing, and supporting mission critical enterprise BI reporting.
4. Maintaining and supporting data analytics platforms.
5. Creating visualizations and reports for requested projects.
6. Conducting demos, POC and training.
7. Train the trainer in the region on PB App, Dashboard and Systems
8. This role might require up to 20% traveling time and field work

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CCE, Computer Science or any other related field.
2. 3-5 years SQL experience.
3. 3 years’ experience in Power BI.
4. Experience in Power BI Service, Power Bi Report Server.
5. Excellent time-management skills.
6. Ability to work independently.
7. Familiarity with agile environments.
8. Excellent communication in English.
9. Basic knowledge of Big Data & AI is a plus
10. Experience with Salesforce or KPIBEEs is a plus.
