TITLE: Recruitment Specialist
RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Director, Talent and Engagement
DIVISION/DEPART: Talent Development/Human Resources

FLSA STATUS: Exempt
INCUMBENT: New Position
· Support full-cycle recruiting including the process of identifying, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding team members. Facilitates an effective recruiting process and collects data to modify and measure success.
· Support GII’s internship program.
· Provide assistance with projects as assigned by the Senior Director, Talent and Engagement on areas such as policy development, team member engagement, and overall team culture and values.
SPECIFIC DUTIES 1:
Recruitment Activity
1. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
2. Lead the job posting and advertisement process.
3. Screen applications and support the selection of qualified candidates.
4. Conduct interviews for entry-to-mid level team members and provide feedback to hiring managers. Schedule interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
5. Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resources team members during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
6. Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the available role, industry standards, and needs of the organization.
7. Collect and analyze data on recruitment resources, costs, and effective practices. Benchmark best practices.
8. Collaborate with the Senior Specialist, HR and Benefits Manager to continuously evaluate and improve the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and onboarding software training and development.
9. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
10. Exhibit and role-model GII’s values statement in interactions with all team members.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Internship Program Support
1. Support the success of GII’s intern program by working with the HR team and partner organizations for acquiring students; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; planning and scheduling of offsite events for summer interns with other GII departments.
2. Coordinate group projects and end of internship luncheon for summer interns.
3. Attend and participate in college job fairs and external recruiting sessions.
General HR Support
4. Assist with HR invoices and expense requests.
5. Assist with weekly team announcements and other HR communications.
6. Support HR projects as needed including but not limited to employee engagement and culture.

· Internal: Work closely with the human resources team, hiring managers and other team members.
· External: Regular contact with national and local organizations such as staffing agencies and vendors. Regular contact with the public on behalf of Goodwill.

I. Experience with SmartSheet and iCIMS preferred.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Three year’s previous recruiting experience and knowledge. Full cycle recruiting experience, preferred. Knowledge of employment law.
DECISION MAKING:
Exercise discretion and sound judgment in performance of duties, setting priorities, and organizing tasks.
SUPERVISION:
Regular with latitude given to select appropriate procedures. Work is reviewed primarily for the quality of outcome and secondarily for approaches, procedures and methodologies used to complete the work. Guidance and review may be required on some work problems and projects.
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Sedentary, lifting 10 pounds maximum. Requires long hours at a computer. May require occasional travel.
EMOTIONAL EFFORT:
Work environment can become hectic with periods of high stress. Moderate deadlines require some overtime. Will need a positive attitude to meet daily challenges.
