The Florence Project was founded in 1989 to respond to a representation crisis for indigent non-citizens detained at the rural Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detention Center in Florence, Arizona. Through our programs today, we provide services to thousands of adults, youth, and children detained in Eloy, Florence, Phoenix, and Tucson, Arizona on any given day. In 2001, the Florence Project implemented our Integrated Social Services Program, one of the first of its kind in this field. The Florence Project provides high quality legal and social services and supports initiatives for national changes in immigration law and policy.
Primary Purpose of the Job:
The position of Office of People & Culture Recruiter serves as the branding champion for identifying top talent for our growing organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop Recruitment materials, ads, and organizational information for potential candidates.
Identify passive and active candidates using a variety of methods including (but not limited to) social media, recruitment programs and other hiring events.
Represent FIRRP at Conferences, Schools, Conventions and events that attract potential candidates for FIRRP’s open positions.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that create and maintain positive images and relationships
Develop and maintain candidate database
Extend compensation and benefits offers to final candidates.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing or Psychology or equivalent years of professional work experience.
1-4 years of Marketing and/or Sourcing candidates for small to mid-size organization.
Ability to travel up 40% of the time
Effective oral, written interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to advocating for our organization’s clients in a respectful and empowering way, zealous support of the Florence Project’s mission, and displays a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and maintain discretion. Must be able to handle highly confidential situations with professionalism and tact.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Proficient computer skills. Advanced understanding of MS365 office applications and Applicant Tracking Systems
Preferred Requirements:
Fluency and advanced proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking, writing, reading).
Experience working in Social Services or Legal professional work (e.g. Legal Assistant, Attorney, Social Worker)
Certified Internet Recruiter (CIM)
Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals
SHRM- CP or SHRM - SCP

Salary & Benefits:
This is a full-time position. Salary is competitive for our field and geographical area. Salaries will be calculated based on relevant experience and our established comprehensive wage scale: $53,500-$68,776.34 DOE
