The role: R&D Material Synthesis Chemist

We are looking for a skilled synthetic chemist with a consistent track record of design and synthesis of wide range of porous materials/sorbents (mainly Metal Organic Framework-MOF) and proven understanding of “reticular chemistry”. Hands-on experience and an extensive background in MOF synthesis is required. A successful candidate will work with a multi-functional team and external vendors to design, develop, and support materials development efforts for our next-generation sorbent. This job is located on-site at R&D centre of excellence of Svante located at Burnaby (near Vancouver), BC, Canada.
This R&D material synthesis chemist takes personal responsibility that, at all times, he/she represents Svante Goals and Values to internal and external customers and suppliers.
