QUARRY MOBILE OPERATOR X3

Overview

The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:

• Adhere to Health & Safety including Environmental programme standards and ensure safe working practices
• Operate specified mobiles such dumpers
• Be trained to operate various other ancillary machines as and when required
• Assist to maintain a dust free Quarry
• Conduct regular inspection of the machines e.g. pre start checks etc
• Assist with production related duties e.g change of screens and running/controlling the plant

Education/Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric) qualification

Code 14 Driver’s Licence (compulsory)

Dumper certificate (advantageous)

Experience

At least 5 years In a similar position (essential) and in a related industry (advantageous)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge on:

• Quarry Products
• Operating knowledge of other earthmoving equipment is essential i.e. dumper, etc.
