Are you our next Projects Manager? Someone who can work with diverse teams and clients across international locations to plan, manage, set-up and deliver on a broad range of exciting leadership development programmes, in person and online? Who can manage a project plan, who has excellent administrative and logistics skills and is a clear communicator?
We are currently looking for you, a dynamic and ambitious professional who can work independently, and who shares our values and is passionate about developing leaders.
Common Purpose, an international not-for-profit leadership development organization, runs programmes in over 100 cities worldwide offering participants the knowledge, skills and inspiration to cross boundaries, solve complex problems and become more active and engaged leaders in society.
This is a full-time permanent role, based remotely in the UK (Office available in London) as part of our Common Purpose International team, which is responsible for leading and developing the organisation’s environmental work – this is a key strategic priority for Common Purpose. We focus on developing programmes for leaders who are working on environmental issues (they are not necessarily in the environmental sector as our work gathers leaders from all walks of life who are tackling environmental challenges).
As Projects Manager you will:
Create and deliver to clear and timely project plans, ensuring programmes are delivered within agreed milestones and budgets
Research, identify and secure venues and a balanced range of speakers for our programmes
Plan, organise and manage our leadership development programmes, ensuring quality and consistency of participant experience
Provide clear, professional communications and support to programme participants, alumni and clients during and beyond the programmes
Directly support the practical delivery of programmes on the day, both online and (when and where restrictions allow) in-person
Gather assessment feedback and support the production of accurate, clear reports on the data and statistics for our clients
Collaborate with Common Purpose colleagues globally (across different time zones, locations and teams), using systems and networks appropriately, efficiently and transparently
You will bring this experience with you:
Excellent project planning and management skills (ideally in similar industries e.g., Environment, leadership, teaching but all relevant experience will be considered), with the ability to handle multiple projects at any one time
Experience in managing and prioritizing a high workload and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Excellent written English, oral communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting on the phone/video calls and in-person
What we are offering?
A salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
25 days of annual leave + Bank holidays (8 days) + Christmas shutdown (Additional 3 days)
A comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) supporting you in your work
Headspace for work – mindfulness based mental health app
Flex@CP, our flexible work policy which allows you to work at your best
Fast-paced but flexible environment – which will test and develop you
Growth – you will be continually developing key skills and capabilities for your future through the role and our internal training and development programmes
Impact – you will see the impact of your work as you and your teams deliver projects and programmes across the organization
Purpose – the chance to work with a diverse range of colleagues across the world driven by the same mission
Responsibility – you will take responsibility from day one and be given real accountability and ownership in your role
