We give voice to people at the frontlines of conflict, crisis and transition to help them drive change and build more stable, just and inclusive societies.

Drawing on three decades of experience in some of the world’s most challenging environments, we support media, civil society, democracy and governance, gender, and youth-focused projects in over 30 countries – promoting reliable information and responsible public debate and removing barriers to freedom of expression.

The Role:

IWPR is seeking a full-time Project Officer, who will lead IWPR’s Moldova operations under the project ‘Building Resilience in the Eastern Neighbourhood (BREN)’.  BREN is an IWPR initiative focused on providing support to civil society groups, with a focus on women’s rights groups across the South Caucasus and Moldova. The Project Officer will be responsible for overseeing project activities and outputs in Moldova, including sub-award management with local organisations, coordinating any technical assistance and capacity building with local groups, and overseeing local stakeholder relations.

In this role you will:

  • Lead on the grant announcement, selection and contracting processes of grant recipients in Moldova;
  • Establish and manage relations with grant recipients and act as a primary point of contact throughout the grant implementation;
  • Oversee implementation of grants, and facilitate the reporting and monitoring and evaluation processes;
