Local Unit & Position Description

DNV’s Supply Chain and Product Assurance (SCPA) division’s ambition is to shape the future of assurance through innovating, developing and growing services in Digital, Supply Chain, Product Assurance, Medical Technology, Healthcare and Offshore Aquaculture.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join DNV SCPA Medical Devices team in France. The Project Manager will take an active role in ensuring and improving operational efficiency and effective service delivery within medical project management throughout France. The Project Manager will be responsible for performance targets achievement, monitoring specified indicators /KPIs/ and proposing measures to improve internal processes.

The Project Manager will report to the Medical Services Manager France / Head of Section.

Key tasks:

  • Enhance the operational cooperation and interaction within the medical services delivery by closely cooperating with GCU and other units/managers, promote best practice sharing;
  • Ensure effective coordination of medical services delivery in chain: GCU - Medical HUB - by assessors/ auditors - clients;
  • Maintain medical services and ensure that they are in alignment with requirements from NB/ accreditations;
  • Preparation of information on the status of projects for the management;
  • Active support to the sales department in reviewing customer demands, feasibility review;
  • Active support to planning department with the aim of correct scheduling and efficient use of resources;
  • Active role in the overall coordination of projects / project risk management and control in the planning, project delivery and technical review phases;
  • Cooperate with Finance for the forecast preparation and analysis and support to invoicing processes;
  • Ensure professional customer support which leads to a high customer satisfaction and market reputation (including marketing support);
  • Support in the handling of complaint management.

Position Qualifications

Key requirements include:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification, technical background is beneficial;
  • Min. 10 years of previous work experience in a similar role. Prior experience in medical industry is highly preferred;
  • Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders is required;
  • Professional background in project design, development and risk evaluation;
  • Strong client communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with Clients;
  • Excellent organizational, coordination and project management skills;
  • Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude;
  • Fluency in French and English is a must.

Preferables:

  • Knowledge of NGPS and other DNV systems is highly preferred for internal hiring or technical skills in using the information systems;
  • Preferable competency is also ISO 13485 auditor qualification.
