Job Summary:
Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the engineering and construction for a new project at Li-Cycle, including project management, preparation and monitoring of project budgets and schedules, providing oversight of consultants and internal project team(s). The Project Manager will be responsible for executing large scale execution projects for Li-Cycle facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle - scoping, engineering, and construction
- Oversee the work performance of external service providers ensuring the work completed meets company standards
- Independently manage multiple activities at different locations and organize work to meet deadlines
- Complete overall project planning, direction, and guidance
- Manage funding, schedules, project scope requirements, project deliverables, etc.
- Conduct project communication meetings, presentations and complete the associated documentation
- Lead and mentor, as required, all project team members
- Ensure that expenditures are maintained within the budgetary limits
Job Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree or Diploma
- Minimum of 10 years of Project Management, Engineering and Construction experience
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering theories and principles
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role, managing a multi-discipline team of professionals
- Experience in medium to large scale industrial projects
- Design experience for capital projects from the ground up is strongly preferred
- Worked at an engineering firm, as an owner or as a consultant preferred
- Strong presentation, oratory, and verbal skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical language
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
- Effective leadership skills required
