The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Project Coordinator Intern. This position would execute on the tasks related to the coordination and oversight of customer projects to ensure timely and effective project development, delivery and customer acceptance.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
- Coordinate program or project planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives.
- Lead and project manage the on-boarding of clients and ensure that they are successfully launched
- Establish project work plan and calendar or schedules; monitors, reviews, and evaluate progress.
- Coordinate and attend meetings; establish and maintain internal and external contacts as necessary.
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
- Communicate with internal departments (especially customer service) to monitor and manage the completion of tasks/deliverables
- Monitor record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project.
- Serves as liaison for department; coordinates activities and exchanges
- Ability to communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude
- Passionate about service and support-seeks to achieve extraordinary results as part of a high energy & dynamic team
- Demonstrate basic problem solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take in responsibility
- Confident self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage yourself to get things done with minimal oversight
- Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
- Knowledge of project planning methodologies such as critical path planning.
- Knowledge of computers and database/spreadsheet/ word processing software.
- Excellent communications and leadership skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to accurately review and complete detail oriented information and projects.
- Ability to conceptualize and organize project planning process.
- Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with wide range of people.
