PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As the Project Coordinator - 1-Tok Kaunselin Helpim Lain, you will work directly with the 1-Tok Helpline team and key stakeholders in order to achieve strengthened services for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). You will be working to support a capable and coordinated GBV support sector, including building capacities within the helpline service.
KEY DUTIES
- Coordinate project/s output achievement in a timely and quality way.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with NGOs, government and civil society and develop alliances with those providing GBV support to enhance coordination with helpline and streamlined pathways for survivors.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to develop agreements on referral pathways and survivor-centred satisfaction of the entire intake, intervention and referral pathway.
- Collaborate and coordinate with helpline counselling team to ensure the quality of service provision, including improvements for database, minimum standards and referral protocols.
- Conduct regular monitoring and generate monitoring reports on the qualitative and quantitative progress of projects.
- Monitor the implementation process to ensure the achievement of project deliverables in terms of cost, time and quality.
- Develop workplans and support monitoring and evaluation tasks including report compilation.
- Ensure all activities are gender sensitive and follow Gender Policy.
- Apply Do No Harm standards to ensure activities do not have detrimental effects on vulnerable communities.
- Ensure compliance with ChildFund policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, international development, social work or other relevant discipline.
- 5+ years’ proven experience in project implementation, planning, coordination, with increasing responsibility in roles undertaken.
- Proven experience in facilitating training and capacity building.
- Project management experience in a leadership role
- Understanding of quantitative and qualitative methods of monitoring and evaluation
- Strong understanding of gender-based violence and Child protection and key stakeholders in these sectors.
DESIRABLE
- Experience in working with NGOs in cross-cultural setting.
- Strong online safety (social media safety features) skills and knowledge
- Experience in a project management or project manager role

Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding or sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment (SEAH) risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding and PSEAH policy and procedures, and conduct yourself consistent with those policies.
