Purpose of the position

The project coordinator, Program Delivery, will be responsible for providing technical support in the implementation of the project and deployment of systems to facilities across Nigeria. S/he will support the project manager in the operational functions of the project and ensure project delivery and operations at full capacity. S/he will also demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge and independence to complete tasks, and proven experience working in the field and coordinating several initiatives across multiple states in Nigeria.

What you’ll do

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for the planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating project activities in Health units;
  • Prepare reports, requisitions and accounts for any equipment required and other allocated resources, while maintaining their functionality;
  • Participating in programme researching, monitoring and evaluation activities;
  • Manage all on-site installation, maintenance, repairs and testing tasks to ensure proper documentation of all related processes and provide completed paperwork to users.
  • Diagnose errors, technical problems and proffer accurate solutions.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports utilizing training, service manuals, and computerized tools and  create & track work plans & schedules
  • Collaborate with technical team members and share information across the organization to build positive relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Act as BA as needed and coordinate change management requests
  • Satisfy customer needs by supplying recommendations and briefings using appropriate field automation systems, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintain user satisfaction through creativity and ingenuity to investigate inquiries, identify resolutions, suggest enhanced operating techniques, and recommend system improvements.
  • Advise users on the correct operation of applicable equipment to enable them to utilize the appliances correctly.
  • Ascertain that outsourced engineering services have been done to the satisfaction of the Organization.
  • Manage inventory of work tools, spare parts and consumables related to maintenance and repair job routines
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, training classes, and supervision. Presents complex ideas and anticipates potential objections. Clearly communicates any ramifications of decisions and issues to project stakeholders, and presents alternatives.
  • Manage repair and maintenance costs within budget.
  • Identify any risk(s) noted during the course of execution of your duties and formally report to your manager.
  • Use of proper safety procedures diligently and demonstrate constant awareness for personal safety and safety of others
  • Participate and promote a positive, supportive, cooperative team environment.
  • Adheres to Policies and procedures.

Who you are

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to successfully perform this job.

  • A minimum of Bachelor degree from college or university in computer science engineering, electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, physics or any related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service, and repair refrigeration equipment.
  • Professional certification in ICT will be an added advantage
  • Be proficient in the use of a computer system running Windows operating system and Linux operating system.
  • Must be able to prepare and interpret flow charts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must have flexibility in working hours, including on-call availability and the willingness to work holidays. Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be familiar with terminal emulation programs like Teraterm
  • Must be able to use a multimeter for basic electrical/electronics troubleshooting
  • Must be willing to travel to various locations across the country on short notices.
  • PRINCE2 Project Management certification is an added advantage
