JOB SUMMARY
CPI is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Operations Associate to provide critical operational support to our Brazil office. This position requires an independent and resourceful individual with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. The position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to multitask projects simultaneously.
The Program Operations Associate will work directly with the Program Director and Program Manager to strengthen the program’s grant reporting systems and manage Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Impact Assessment tasks for program grants. This position will also work closely with Finance and Operations staff in Brazil and globally to manage the project operations processes through IT-enabled information workflow systems. The Program Operations Associate will be responsible for monitoring different programs and projects to ensure compliance with funding terms (along with Finance), monitor grant reporting as per funder requirements, monitor the progress of projects, and help identify pivots in programs/projects as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide project lifecycle support for the Brazil Program including:
Track and review project progress against deliverables and outputs and advance/reimbursement requests to donors along with program team and project leads/managers
Maintain accurate data on key project management platforms including Fluxx Grantseeker, Asana and Sage Intacct, working closely with project managers to monitor changes and maintain accurate records
Support the implementation of internal project management policies and procedures
Educate program staff to ensure accurate and compliant management of grants and contracts, adherence to donor regulations, local laws and regulations, and internal control procedures.
Ensure excellent working relations with the granters/funders for all CPI Brazil projects and monitor grant utilization and resource allocation on internal workflow systems.
Coordinate the preparation and execution of grant-specific reviews by working closely with Finance/ Operations teams and Program staff
Implement and maintain robust M&E processes to ensure compliance with funder requirements
Communicate and collaborate with CPI staff working around the globe.

Position Details
CPI is hiring for Program Operations Associate open immediately to be based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The CPI team is currently working in hybrid/flexible WFH mode with two days a week in office, or as required. CPI in Brazil hires through the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and offers competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
