Hours: 35 hours weekly, permanent
Salary: $118,097-144,329 annually
Reports to: Executive Director
Office Requirement: Hybrid in office or fully remote

About The Role
As Program Director - Climate, you'll play a pivotal role in directing a team of lawyers, communicators, and campaigners to drive impactful climate litigation and law reform. You'll guide strategy to hold governments and corporations accountable for climate commitments, including just transition, sustainable finance, delivering on the goals of the Paris Agreement and securing a rapid phase out of fossil fuels.
Your leadership will build the Climate Team's capacity while fostering collaboration across Ecojustice’s Nature and Healthy Communities portfolios. You'll identify innovative opportunities to shape climate law, particularly through litigation.
A key part of your role will be advancing Ecojustice's Strategic Plan by embedding justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and Reconciliation (JEDI-R) into projects, fostering partnerships with Indigenous and equity-deserving communities. Additionally, you’ll cultivate relationships with clients, allied organizations, communities, and donors to further Ecojustice’s mission.
