POSITION OVERVIEW
Program Coordinators support Lift to Rise’s strategic and operational objectives by performing program-related services and activities in support of Riverside County’s United Lift Rental Assistance program. In this role, a program coordinator will coordinate with tenants and landlords to process emergency rental assistance for persons experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
- Process forms and documentation necessary to administer rental assistance payments.
- Perform case coordination and file management in accordance with internal processes and protocols.
- Review all client files for program eligibility, completeness, and accuracy.
- Maintain appropriate records and activity logs; to include but not limited to correspondence and compliance documentation.
- Complete a variety of eligibility reviews; verify documentation needed to determine eligibility for assistance; verify eligibility documentation; audit files for personal data needed; analyze and verify information reported for accuracy.
- Respond timely to inquiries from tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders involved regarding rental assistance payments, supporting documentation, or other program-related questions.
- Assists with application intake and explains program rules and regulations as needed.
- Build and maintain working relationships with community agencies/organizations that provide comprehensive services to participants.
- Monitor and report tenant and landlord complaints; diffuse crisis situations when possible and assist in resolution.
- Refer applicants and participants to community agencies as appropriate.
- Perform data entry as required.
- Maintain document filing systems in an organization.
- Receiving, processing and filing documents, including image, video and audio files.
- Securely store documents and retrieve achieved materials on request.
- Participate in program meetings and training as required.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience with document filing
- Spanish fluency preferred
