Position Title: Program Coordinator, Events
Supervisor: Manager, Events
Department/Division: Transaction Acceleration Group (TAG)
Hours: 40 hours per week (exempt)
Location: Washington, DC or remote
Salary range: $50,000 to $81,500
Position Overview
The Program Coordinator will support design and execution of the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA)’s educational convenings/events. CEBA Program Coordinators have exceptional communication, organizational and project coordination skills. The role is responsible for supporting planning and managing projects and events, handling communications, facilitating educational sessions, supporting relationships with key stakeholders, and providing input and support for projects, initiatives and programs under the direction of internal leaders.
Program Coordinators are independent contributors and work closely with a team on projects under the direction of more senior staff.
Core Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and support events, including in-personal and virtual.
Support development and deployment of educational training sessions for members, sometimes in a facilitation role.
Support development of event strategy, goals, and KPIs.
Contribute to and follow project plans in collaboration with senior staff to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
Provide detailed communications to members, stakeholders, and partners.
Contribute to the growth and development of CEBA by developing and sharing best practices.
Track, follow, and understand developments in renewable energy markets and procurement practices.

Workshop facilitation and project management experience
Experience facilitating in hybrid setting a plus
Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen actively and effectively, and present key points clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing.
Passion for achieving CEBA’s vision of a resilient zero-carbon energy system

Ability to understand complex problems and develop insightful analyses using basic quantitative and qualitative approaches
