ChildFund Australia is an international development agency that works in partnership with children and their communities to create lasting and meaningful change by supporting long‐term community development and promoting children’s rights. ChildFund Australia is a registered charity and is fully accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade which manages the Australian Government’s overseas aid Programme. ChildFund Australia’s goals are to deliver quality development programs that are respectful, responsive and effective.
ChildFund Myanmar is the representative office of ChildFund Australia – an independent and non‐religious international development organization that works to reduce poverty for children in the developing world. ChildFund Australia began working in Myanmar in 2012. Child-focused development programs are being delivered in a partnership approach working with local groups and organizations and ChildFund Myanmar focus will be child protection, education, youth resilience and DRR.
POSITION SUMMARY and JOB PURPOSE
Program Coordinator (PC) is the focal person for the “Organizational Development of Civil Society Organizations and Community Systems Strengthening for Improving Access to Health” project with the focus of organizational development of the CSOs. PC has to take responsibilities for the overall project management through assessments and planning, mentoring and coaching, training sessions, and consistent monitoring and evaluation throughout the project lifecycle. S/he is to work closely with the donor, consortium members, the local partners and other stakeholders involved in the program activities.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The position reports to the Program Manager and will also work closely with ChildFund Myanmar staffs to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the project.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Under the supervision of Program Manager, Program Coordinator (PC) will perform the followings;

Qualifications & Experiences
Tertiary education preferably in social science
At least seven-year experience in community-based development and civil society strengthening
Excellent understanding of proposal design, logical frame works, indicators and reporting
Track record in providing training, facilitation, mentoring and coaching
Strong Analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate in Myanmar and English (written and oral)
Ability to travel frequently to the project sites
