Up With Women / Exponenti’elles (UWW/EXP) is a national charity dedicated to helping women and gender diverse individuals to build a sustainable pathway out of poverty. Currently serving in 4 provinces and growing (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec), Up With Women/Exponenti’elles is committed to serving our clients in the official language of their choice, anywhere within our service areas.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Our work environment is evolving. We are dedicated to providing a productive and collaborative remote working experience for all staff. We have also learned from experience that some in-person interaction is important in being able to nurture the culture, creativity, interconnection and psychological safety of our team. Currently, our staff work mostly from home, but it is still a requirement to come into the office about once a month or every six weeks, as well as when required by your manager or the organization.
- Work hours: This position is a full-time, 1-year contract position. The Program Coordinator will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, 5 days a week.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the management of relationships with clients, community partners, and various other stakeholders as well as being accountable for related administrative and operational tasks.
Although we invite all qualified applicants to apply, the successful candidate will ideally be located in the Calgary or Vancouver area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Development and management of relationships with clients, community partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders as required.
- Deliver informative and engaging presentations to community partners, and prospective clients virtually and/or in person and build ongoing relationships with community partner agencies and their staff.
- Deliver key program activities, including client outreach and recruitment, client intake, onboarding, regular check-ins, and support.
- Participate in program events, job fairs, and others as required.
- Plan, organize and co-facilitate regular client group discussion session as required.
- Support in planning, organizing, and securing facilitators for client workshops.
- Monitor implementation of program processes and policies for the purposes of high-quality service delivery and continuous quality improvement
- Create and maintain client records and program documents and presentations and file them in accordance with UWW’s policies and procedures.
- Facilitate positive relations within the program team, with other departments within UWW, and with stakeholders at large.
- Continuously assess the program's effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements. Implement any necessary changes based on evaluation findings.

- Experience working with diverse clients including clients with lived experience of poverty, housing and/or employment precarity, trauma, domestic violence, mental health and addictions, and disabilities.
- An understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-oppression concepts and issues especially as they apply to women and gender diverse individuals living in poverty.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively share and present information to all stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to work on multiple projects, concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficiency with word-processing/presentation/email/calendar software, search engines, and web-based platforms.
- Ability to exercise confidentiality, tact, and discretion.
