POSITION SUMMARY
The primary objective of the Home Delivery Coordinator is to oversee the implementation of Feeding South Florida’s® Home Delivery Programs, including client intake, screening, enrollment, reporting, and interdepartmental coordination. As a member of the Client Services Team, this position will provide superior customer service, with a pleasant demeanor, and embody our core values while working to increase food access for South Florida’s most vulnerable populations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and support the overall execution of the Home Delivery Program, including client enrollment and communication, interdepartmental coordination, and troubleshooting opportunities as they arise.
- Advocate and expand all home delivery services with a focus on marginalized populations, addressing the needs of socially isolated and homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Maintain program client caseload to liaise with Allocations and Transportation, supporting communication of routes and delivery dates to clients.
- Raise the voices of the individuals we serve by documenting their stories and feedback, and experiences through qualitative and quantitative surveys.
- Grow programmatic services that meet the dietary and cultural needs of families and individuals we serve with a choice model, addressing chronic diseases with Medically Tailored Meals (MTM).
- Track all program data on a regular basis to identify service gaps, participation trends, and program outputs, and provide reports regularly to program leadership to support philanthropic and grant reporting activities.
- Make recommendations for resource support and maintain meaningful relationships with healthcare partners, community-based organizations, and case managers serving as referral pathways for the Home Delivery Program.
- Represent Feeding South Florida in external meetings and navigate conversations with a high degree of empathy and a solution-oriented approach.
- Identify areas of opportunity within the home delivery program to increase utilization of other public benefits and resources such as SNAP, Medicaid, Extra Help, and Medicare Savings Program.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish.
- Ability to maintain a pleasant and calm demeanor under pressure in a face paced environment.
- Excellent organization skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively using various communication mediums, e-mail, written correspondence, phones, etc.
- Excellent computer and technology skills; ability to type 50 WPM, and schedule video conferences using a variety of software such as Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Working knowledge of MS Suite; Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Hours of Operation: Organization hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., this position may work additional hours occasionally throughout the year, especially during peak times such as holiday seasons, and disaster response.
- Environment: This position works in an office setting with varying periods of standing, talking, and/or visual concentration, and use of office equipment. Must maintain office safety standards. Occasional work will occur in the warehouse or outside in fields and warehouses in inclement weather. The noise in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Travel: This position may have occasional travel for meetings, conferences, or special events which may require the use of a personal vehicle.
- OSHA Standards: Lifting requirements are 50 pounds and when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load.

Salary: $19.23 - $21.00 per hour
