The Role: Production Coordinator
Who are you?
As the Production Coordinator, you will support the manufacturing team with ongoing coordination for improvement and continued development in process related to Quality, Safety, Lean Practices and Sustainability as part of the Manufacturing Processes. You would be expected to liaise with and work positively as part of a team working with the required external department leads to meet the objectives of the manufacturing team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You have a Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field or 2-5 years' experience in a production coordinator role or similar role.
You have general knowledge in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma and/or a strong understanding of lean manufacturing & process development
You have participated in Safety activities such as JSA, JHSC, or equivalent.
You have general knowledge in Quality.
You have the knowledge of manufacturing principles.
You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
You can do root cause analysis.
You have experience with change management and deployment.
You are familiar with electrical and mechanical equipment and associated risks.
You are familiar with dangerous goods and associated risks.
